I love it when I'm surfing and find something unexpected. Just found this review of Passport Control on Amazon Canada posted on behalf of Tommy Dewar (unfortunately, reviews put on Amazon USA and Amazon Canada are separate). I've never met Tommy but thank you so much and I hope you enjoy White Zion coming out April 25.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great read

"January 18, 2019 Format: Paperback  Passport Control is excellent. In a first person POV, Green expertly portrays the angst of a 20 something Jewish girl estranged from her family and her desire to show, despite her father's disapproval, she will make it without him. Miriam's out of the fire and into the frying pan journey combined with the relationship with her roommates in Israel is emblematic not only of her own family relations, but also the climate in Israel (left vs right/Arab vs Jew) Miriam is an endlessly relatable character that readers will want to know more about.

There are aspects of the conclusion where it feels like loose ends have not been tied up, feeling more like a leap of faith and rapid conclusion which leaves the reader with the desire for more detail. Overall however, Passport Control is a strong book and Green is an author that should not be missed."
