Selected Editorial Projects
Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with authors across a wide range of genres, including historical fiction, literary fiction, speculative fiction, memoir, nonfiction, children's literature, and academic publishing.
Most recently, I completed work with Debby Show on Paper Roses, a novel inspired by true events that moves between Morocco and the United States. Together, we focused on strengthening character development, emotional depth, and narrative flow, helping bring this compelling story of family, identity, and resilience to life.
Misha— Frank GenoaI have also worked closely with Frank Genoa, most recently completing the last book in a trilogy, Misha, a post-apocalyptic story centered on survival, family, and the difficult choices people make under extraordinary circumstances. Long-term collaborations such as this allow for deep work on story structure, voice, character development, and continuity across a series.
The Golem's Holocaust— Scott EveloffScott Eveloff's historical fiction explores difficult questions surrounding the Holocaust, medicine, and ethics. We recently completed work on the sequel, continuing a collaboration focused on balancing historical complexity with compelling storytelling and strong character-driven narrative.
The Ghosting Time — Jeremy Esekow
Blending science fiction, historical adventure, and elements of mystery, The Ghosting Time moves between a utopian future and Victorian England. My editorial work focused on strengthening pacing, narrative clarity, and character development while preserving the novel's imaginative approach to time travel and family relationships.
Chains is a powerful work of historical fiction exploring exile, faith, and Jewish identity. I worked with the author to strengthen narrative cohesion and emotional impact while preserving the novel's rich historical and spiritual themes.
In this coming-of-age novel, the protagonist embarks on a journey of self-discovery and personal growth. My editorial work focused on character development, thematic consistency, and refining the narrative arc to support the story's emotional resonance.

Downs and Ups: A Memoir of Hope and Resilience for Parents — Sue Lachman
Sue Lachman's memoir offers a deeply personal account of overcoming adversity and rebuilding a meaningful life. I worked with the author to shape the manuscript's narrative structure, strengthen its emotional impact, and ensure that its practical insights remained accessible and engaging for readers.

Digital Warrior — Rachel Lester
Currently in development, Digital Warrior chronicles six months of reserve service during wartime and examines the role of information, media, and communication in modern conflict. We recently completed developmental editing and are preparing the manuscript for its next stage.
L'Chaim, To Life—Becky Haendel
A moving Holocaust memoir, L'Chaim, To Life traces one family's journey across continents and generations. Through the story of her grandmother, Becky Haendel recounts a life that began in Budapest, continued through Brazil, and ultimately found a home in the United States. Rich in personal history and resilience, the memoir preserves an important family legacy while illuminating the broader Jewish experience of the twentieth century. The book is held in the collections of the Yad Vashem Library and the National Library, underscoring its value as a historical testimony.
My editorial work included collaborating with Adena J. Bernstein on Stolen Legacies, which received first place in the 2026 Next Generation Indie Book Awards. The book explores Holocaust-era art theft, restitution efforts, and the ongoing pursuit of justice nearly eighty years after World War II. It was a privilege to help shape such an important and timely work.
Secrets of a Formidable Dater — Saskia KalwinekMy editorial work has included projects focused on relationships, psychology, and personal growth. This collaboration involved helping shape practical guidance on dating, attachment styles, communication, and emotional resilience while maintaining an engaging and accessible voice for readers.
Jewish Soul Food: Traditional Fare and What It Means — Carol Ungar
Edited this award-worthy cookbook and cultural exploration of Jewish culinary traditions, helping shape a manuscript that combines recipes, history, and spiritual meaning into an engaging and accessible reader experience.
I worked on material connected to Loving Classroom, an innovative educational program that approaches relationship-building and conflict resolution as teachable skills. My role involved refining content intended for educational and community audiences while preserving the program's unique voice and vision.
The Light of Day — Valerie LevyI have also collaborated with Valerie Levy, whose work explores migration, identity, resilience, and the experiences of Caribbean communities in Canada. In addition to providing editorial guidance, I was honored to contribute a testimonial and write the foreword for her work.
The MapSeeker — Leah KotkesThe MapSeeker explores questions of spirituality, purpose, and personal growth. My editorial work focused on helping shape complex ideas into a clear, accessible narrative while preserving the author's distinctive voice and perspective.
Children's Books and Sensitivity ReadingI have edited children's books and served as a sensitivity reader for numerous authors and publishers, including work for Random House. Additional projects have included collaborations with Beth Levine, Yona Diamond Dansky, Marc Kornblatt, and A. Rae Dunlap.
I was especially privileged to consult with A. Rae Dunlap on The Dreadfuls, providing guidance on the novel's extensive Jewish content and cultural representation.
Academic and Educational PublishingBeyond book publishing, I serve as copy editor for ENQ (Enquiry), an open-access, peer-reviewed journal published by the Architectural Research Centers Consortium. Since 2023, I have worked with scholarly research spanning architecture, urban design, landscape architecture, planning, and related disciplines.
I also work as a freelance copy editor for IMPACT-SE, editing educational materials and textbooks that support the organization's mission of promoting violence-free education around the world.
Additional Editorial Collaborations
In addition to these projects, I have collaborated with authors on both book-length manuscripts and shorter-form work, including short stories, nonfiction pieces, and a short story collection. These collaborations include Ethan Brown (books and a short story collection), Ellee Thalheimer (short stories and nonfiction), Miriam Malowitsky (short-form nonfiction), and Chaya Zimmerman (book-length work), among others.
Across these projects, my editorial work focuses on strengthening structure, clarity, and narrative voice while preserving each writer's distinctive style and intent.
