Celebrating Five Years of Gilagreenwrites: Exciting Updates Ahead!
I am thrilled to announce that gilagreenwrites is celebrating its five-year anniversary! It's been an invaluable journey, and I am deeply honored by the warm reaction and support my website has received from readers and writers alike and the many publicists who contact me regularly, updating me on the nonstop flow of Jewish literature coming out into the world. This journey has enabled me to connect with a broad range of talent, spend time with writers, hear their thoughts and advice, and share it all with you.
In honor of this milestone, I've asked the amazing authors who have been featured on gilagreenwrites to send in their best advice for writers. Stay tuned for a special series of posts where they share their wisdom, insights, and tips to inspire and guide you on your writing journey.
Looking Back: Summer Blog Post SeriesAs I wrap up my summer blog post series, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who engaged with and supported the content. Your participation and feedback have been invaluable, and I hope you found the series both enjoyable and enriching.
Exciting Upcoming EventsThe celebration doesn't stop here! I have a lot of exciting updates and events coming up:
I'm working on a new short story collection. I have already written one story that will be submitted as part of a post-October 7 anthology. I have signed up for a fall course for my first foray into hybrid nonfiction. Additionally, I have been accepted through the US embassy in Israel to participate in a course in teaching academic writing to English as a Foreign Language students, in anticipation of setting up a Language Lab for my EFL students. I'm looking forward to hosting the August Jewish Book Carnival here on the 15.8. 24. I am available to speak to book clubs in person in Israel and on Zoom for readers anywhere.
Thank you for celebrating with me! Here's to another five years and beyond.
