I write novels for both adults and teens, with a publishing journey that began in short stories and flash fiction. My narratives unfold across diverse backdrops—Canada, Israel (both modern and pre-State), and South Africa—offering a glimpse into cultures and histories that shape my storytelling.
While I experiment with various forms, my focus often centers on exploring Jews and Judaism through a wide lens, highlighting the rich diversity of Ashkenazi, Yemenite, and Sephardi Jews—a representation I feel is often underexplored in much of the Jewish literature I love.
My stories dive deep into the lives of everyday people facing struggles like immigration, racism, colonialism, occupation, alienation, war, politics, abuse, romance, poverty, terrorism, and survival. These universal themes are close to my heart, as they resonate deeply with the human experience.
Since embarking on my writing journey in 2005, I’ve encountered countless challenges that have shaped me as both a writer and a person. Every mistake has been a lesson, each one propelling me forward on this evolving path. Along the way, I’ve gathered insights I’m eager to share, hoping to help you navigate your own writing journey with a bit more ease.
Beyond writing, I’m passionate about the business side of publishing and marketing—two essential yet distinct aspects of the writing world. Whether you’re looking for guidance on the craft or the market, I’m here to assist and support you. I hope my work resonates with you as much as I enjoy sharing it.
