I write novels for both adults and teens, and my publishing journey began as a short story and flash fiction writer. My narratives unfold against the backdrops of Canada, Israel (both modern and pre-State), and South Africa. While I experiment with various forms, my focus often centers on fiction exploring Jews and Judaism across a broad canvas, encompassing Ashkenazi, Yemenite, and Sephardi Jews—a diversity I've found lacking in much of the Jewish literature I love.

My stories delve into the lives of everyday people grappling with immigration, racism, colonialism, occupation, alienation, war, politics, abuse, romance, poverty, terrorism, and survival.
